Fine grade will meet the requirements for Type II Grade II Sodium Chloride as established by the American Society for Testing and Materials. Our Fine grade is translucent grey to white in color.  The appearance is powdery.  Yellow Prussiate of Soda (YPS) is added to the salt as an anti-caking agent. Fine Grade salt is most used as a feed additive for livestock.  It can also be also used to melt ice and snow on roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and anywhere else ice control is needed.
