We mine Red Lake Diatomaceous Earth with Calcium Bentonite (Red Lake Earth) from a deposit in the pristine province of British Columbia, Canada. Unlike other DE products, both of these sought-after minerals are found in their natural state within this deposit. This natural combination is rare, with only one other known deposit that contains both diatomaceous earth and calcium bentonite in the world. Red Lake Earth (RLE) contains a unique, naturally occurring blend of diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite. All red lake earth products meet food chemical codex and feed-grade specifications. Red Lake Diatomaceous Earth is registered for use in feeds for further manufacturing in animal feed (amount not to exceed 2% of total diet). Red Lake Earth will improve the flowability and mixability of all types of animal feed. RLE Diatomaceous Earth is also OMRI Listed (Organic Materials Review Institute) for use in organic production. Diatomaceous Earth has also been approved by EPA for use as a natural insecticide. Lower mortality rates and healthier birds in poultry. Improved weight gain and improved shell quality in poultry. Reduced manure odor and reduced hydrogen sulfide in cattle and swine. EPA Compliant, OMRI Listed.
